Awakening to Presence
A One-day Insight Meditation Retreat
Sunday 21 May 2017
Meditation offers the means to be more present with yourself, to have a more direct experience of life and your inner sense of well-being.
This one day retreat will give you the opportunity to learn about and experience a variety of meditation practices.
We will explore ancient and modern wisdom, the wisdom of the Buddha as well as contemporary teachers like Eckhart Tolle, that reveal to us how to awaken to our true nature.
Why is ‘being here now’ so valuable? How does one become more present in daily life? What is it that takes us out of the moment into the world of the mind? How do we keep recreating our suffering?
To be more fundamentally present in your daily life and relationships is to awaken to your essential self.
This one day retreat program will consist of sitting, walking & guided meditations, meditation instruction, a Q & A session and Dharma talk.
The retreat will be held at:
Oxford Falls Peace Park,
Cnr Wakehurst Parkway and Dreadnought Rd,
