Golden Wattle Sangha is an Insight Meditation (Vipassana) group that has blossomed in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.

We meet every Thursday evening at the E J Ward Community Centre, 189 Underwood Street, Paddington at 7pm for a 7:15pm start. If you prefer to sit on a cushion, please bring your own. There are chairs at the venue.
 
We start again after the holidays on February 2nd 2012.

We usually sit for 45 minutes, followed by a short tea break then either a dharma talk by a teacher or a group discussion. We finish around 9:00pm.

There is a $5 facility fee to cover the cost of hiring the venue, plus dana (whatever you would like to donate) when we have a teacher. On evenings when there is no teacher we discuss our practice, have a discussion led by a group member or occasionally listen to a talk on CD.

**Stephen and Martine Batchelor will be our guests at a community dinner. After a short meditation we will have breif introductions from all SIM and Sydney Sanghas, then Stephen and Martine will talk breifly about what Sangha means to them.
