Deepening Into Stillness
 2025

The theme of this year's Deepening Into Stillness retreat is
How to stay connected in an increasingly disconnected and impersonal world.
In today’s fast-paced, digital-driven world, despite being constantly "connected" online, many of us can feel more isolated than ever. It’s time to step away from the noise and rediscover the power of silence, and stillness.
We will draw upon the teachings of the Buddha and contemporary wisdom to explore ways that cultivate meaningful relationships with ourselves, keeping our hearts open, and engaging with others in mindful deep connection.
This 6-day meditation retreat blends the practices of Insight Meditation, Buddhist principles on mindfulness, compassion and awareness to help you rediscover genuine connection. We will explore the ways mindfulness can enhance your relationships and inner peace in the fast-paced, fragmented world we live in.
The retreat program will consist of daily guided meditation instructions, walking meditation, individual meetings with teachers, open dharma inquiry sessions, inquiry exercises, and evening Dharma talks.
We will be offering five Mindful Movement sessions providing opportunities to embody the theme of the retreat, supporting dancing with life and rediscovering your vitality and the pleasure of living
Who should attend: This retreat is open to both beginners and experienced meditators who seek to
  • Cultivate mindfulness and awareness in everyday life
  • Deepen their relationships with themselves & others
  • Learn how Buddha's teachings can guide them in a disconnected world

Testimonials:
'This wonderful retreat format of beautifully intermingling mindful movement with insight meditation, seems the perfect combination. May there be many more of these wise and supportive retreats in the future! Thank you.'

Nourishing, that would be the word for my experience at this retreat. The mindful movement sessions were the highlight. The movement practices complemented each other so well and were balanced with stillness practice. In just 5 days I was able to deepen my connection to my heart-mind-body in an unexpected and entirely wholesome way. Great retreat for all levels of meditation experience. If you're reading this then go! (or should I say “join” as I certainly hope to do this retreat again!)
