Sydney Insight Meditators (SIM) is a not-for-profit association to support the practice of insight (vipassana) meditation, a practice that the Buddha founded over 2500 years ago.
SIM supports affiliated sanghas (meditation groups) in Sydney and regional areas and organises workshops, talks and retreats led by Australian-based and international meditation teachers. It also hosts this website and a newsletter which play a vital role in informing members and other interested people of its activities. All the operations of SIM are run entirely by volunteers. If your membership is due for renewal or you are not yet a member and support the activities of SIM, now is the time to update. Your contribution is greatly valued and facilitates the continued operations of SIM. The membership fee is payable each year in July, prior to the SIM Annual General Meeting. Membership entitles you to vote at the AGM. |

Applications for membership can be downloaded below, or from your local sangha or at SIM retreats and events. Please return the completed form to the SIM Secretary. You will receive an email once your membership application is accepted and payment is due. Then you can pay your membership here.
