The Tender Heart
        Retreat

Tender Heart is a 3 night Insight Meditation retreat held in noble silence, with the precious intention of allowing the heart to open into tenderness. The retreat will emphasise creating a container of safety, simplicity, non-violence and self-compassion throughout alternating periods of walking, sitting and moving meditation.
We will practice cultivating a gentle and loving awareness with the intention of letting the mind rest and settle. As our habitual patterns of protection and judgement settle too, the heart can naturally open into tenderness and care.
Meditation instructions will be given each day with a focus on the fundamentals of mindfulness and the core teachings of the Buddha. Mindful yoga will be offered twice a day and instructions on mindful eating and how to sit conformably will be offered also. Students will have plentiful support from teachers through group interviews, making this a particularly suitable retreat for those newer to insight practice. Experienced students are also most welcome.
